Registration

After completing the pre-registration form, our office will contact you to schedule an eligibility/enrollment appointment. These appointments verify family eligibility but do not guarantee program placement. Enrollment follows CA Department of Education’s Eligibility and Priority criteria (5 CCR §18131).  For more information on enrollment priorities click here.  

Open enrollment for preschool begins in late April or 120 days prior to the new school year. Applications are accepted through the end of May and spots are awarded in early June. Enrollment is continuous until all spots are filled. 

Completed application packets and other documents are collected during the in-person eligibility appointments. Incomplete applications will be rejected and appointments will be rescheduled. Drop-off packets are not accepted. 

Click the link below to access an application packet, or pick up a printed packet at the main office of our preschool sites. In-person appointments are available Monday-Friday between 8:00am- 1:00pm. Accommodations can be made for parents who are unavailable during these hours. 

Note: Children turning 5 between September 2nd and December 2nd are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (TK). For TK details, contact your school site’s main office.
