2026–2027 EXPAND After-School Program Registration!

TK & Kindergarten Only - Pre-Registration

Begins January 26, 2026

Families with incoming TK or Kindergarten students are invited to pre-register for the EXPAND After-School Program starting January 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Siblings are also welcome to apply! Please note that siblings require a paper application, which can be picked up from your school site’s Student Services Clerk or by contacting EESD’s Main EXPAND Office. Completed paper applications must be turned in to the Main Office at 2925 June Street.

To be included in pre-registration, all required paperwork and payment must be received by 4:00 p.m. on March 2, 2026.

Open Registration (TK - 8th Grade)

Begins March 3, 2026

Registration for all other students opens March 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., and applications may be submitted through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

At this time, Mistletoe School is serving TK through 6th-grade students only due to staffing needs.

Families will be notified of acceptance between April 28th and May 1st, 2026. Families placed on the waitlist will also receive notification during this time.

What You’ll Need to Apply

  • EESD After-School Program Application and Scholarship Information

  • Income verification (such as recent pay stubs or tax documents for parents/guardians in the household, including spouse, step-parent, or partner)

Please be sure all materials are submitted in full. Incomplete applications or missing documents may delay processing or result in a denied application.

Due to funding guidelines, priority enrollment is given to TK/Kindergarten students and their siblings, homeless students, and foster youth. We work hard to offer as many spots as possible at each school site, based on available staffing.  Younger students will have priority during staffing shortages.

Families will be notified by email regarding their child’s enrollment status.

This program is a community effort involving the school district, families, and local organizations. EXPAND provides homework help, tutoring, and enriching experiences that support students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Designed to boost academic success while helping keep students safe after school, EXPAND takes a whole-child approach, offering academic support alongside health, social, recreational, cultural, and technology-based activities.
